Hi everybody that just happens to be reading this

Haven't blogged for a long time, but that's ok, I get around to it eventually. Life is getting a bit hectic with Grove City early decision applications due in really really soon. Guess What? I have mine finished! Wow, it seems so strange that in a year, I am going to be a freshman in college, and in just a few days will be 18 years old!!That just seems weird. All my friends are getting older, and getting accepted into colleges, and just growing up. Wow, I sound like my mom. I still remember when Karen and I discovered the perfect recipe for the perfect mud for "bread" Then we had Hurricane Angie that came around and ate our snowballs. Life was great back then. but life is more fun now.

Hey everybody, long time no blog!

This is to become known to all the people reading this that Jennifer Gail Steinhoff, to whom this is now dedicated to, was one of the greatest people that I encountered at BNYC. She was a great help, and I really thank her.

THANKS JENNY

Guatemala was awesome!! My favorite part of the whole trip was playing with Josesito before he wanted to play "Cabello" for hours on end. So I gave him to the guys to play with. He is an adorable two year old that is about knee high with the hugest brown eyes and longest lashes I have ever seen. Ten days in the tropics with tempermental electricity, no air conditioning, hair dryers, or makeup gets kinda fun after you get over what you look like. Showers took only about a minute and a half, but interesting.  The girls could hear Bennett singing from the guy's bathroom on the other side of the wall, and we sang soul music between the four shower partitions. We painted 28 concrete houses in our stay, the guys helped move a mountain of cinder blocks, and we all played with the orphans, did food distribution, and did puppet shows. Staging for the shows was fun, being tarps held up for the back row, and the front row hid behind a metal counter at the orphanage.  After we were finished working for the day, we all would go and swim in the huge pool that they had at the mission. Another thing that I really miss is fitting 10 teens + huge buckets of paint into the back of a pickup truck going 70 down the Guatemalan highway, not to mention speaking un poco amount de espanol!! (that is in there just for you Jenn)

Conference...(This is turning out to be a really long entry)

Conference was great, and as I already told you partially about Jenn and what she did for me, I will briefly expand. She was the one that followed me around to my various events every day, carrying all my junk, keeping track of the aforementioned, and cheering me on in everything that I did. (She also made it VERY difficult to find her afterwards) As a result of not being able to find her, I could not get into my dorm because she had my key, I could not find her because she had my cell phone, I could not get changed because she had my other clothes(which meant that I was running around in a black long sleeved, long skirted velvet dress or my quizzing uniform. GO CHESAPEAKE!!) Nor could I go into lunch because I attached my white wristband to my keychain. (I am allergic to the plastic)  To make a long story short, I usually spent 30 minutes or so looking for her multilple times a day. She was also my room mate, and we had the greatest unairconditioned dorm room of all times. We had streamers, a very decorated door, and we decorated our whole quad. (Loo included)

The rest of BNYC was cool, three people in my YG came to Christ, please pray for Jen C, Tiffany K, and Shannon S. I don't know how quizzing went, I have nothing to compare it to, and Karen and I placed silver. Thanks everyone who watched.

Our family went on vacation, and we are all almost dead, but I'll tell everyone about it later, because I am really really tired. Tonight though, we are watching Mulan II after going school shopping and icecreaming at Coldstone.

Nighty-night Y'all

This is hereby dedicated to Elizabeth Greber in honor of her birthday.

Hey everybody! I have officially finished the English project and APEuro paper that I had due. I have not let down my title as the child that procrastinates most often, as I did my English project last night as it was due this morning, and I just finished the five page AP paper that is due on Thiursday at 12:30 p.m. Life would be boring if I actually finished my homework early. However, it is nice to know that I don't have to do it anymore, I just have to get it proofed by Dad.

Things are really moving fast with the end of the year coming up soon, and the trip to Guatemala coming fast also. Tomorrow I go to get the rest of my shots, and go shopping for clothes to take with me that can be destroyed. THURSDAY I GET MY LICENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will not be necessary to stay off the sidewalk, I am a good driver.

Wow! I can't believe that I have been writing on my Xanga for 111 days now. This is gonna be short, 'cause it has been a long day, and I have a paper due on Friday that I haven't started for my AP class on Demjanjuk. For some reason, my teacher thinks that I will be able to write five to seven pages (double spaced) on a trial that happened after WWII ended.

Life is going alright with me. Thanks to not having to go to school until 1030 each morning, I get to sit at the computer and write on my Xanga or IM people this week. I am going to DIE when I have to start getting up early again.  Thankfully, I don't have to go to school on Monday because of Memorial Day.

Kindergarten spring conferences are tomorrow and Friday, so I either get to go to work and work in a new place, or I can go home and watch the Guatemalan people work on tearing down the fence, and the Mexicans put in the electric box for our pool. Fun, fun, fun.  I can't wait until it is warm enough to be outside without shivering. Today was not the most beautiful day for the end of May, but it was warmer than it was a month ago.

Quizzing is going fine, studying, however, is taking a bit longer. It is fun, but a lot of work.

My E-mail is not working

Breakfast this morning tasted good

I fixed it myself

Eggs, fried ham, toast, muffins

Nothing pre-packaged

I was proud of me.

(fried eggs, not scrambled)

That did not turn out as short as I thought it would                                                                                        oops

THAT IDIOT BROTHER OF MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just because I don't know how to get rid of already posted weblogs does not mean that I am computer illiterate!

Anyway, thanks for reading my venting. School today was boring, and it seemed very long. I did, however, get to sleep in until nine thirty because of HSA assessments that I do not have to take. Getting up late does cause for a bit of a rush in getting ready. Today I had Spanish class and Communications Technology and then I got to come home instead of going to work. That part was good, but I was more of a clock watcher than I usually am. I'm talking multiple times within minutes. The rest of school went alright.

Today was the day!! I finished up my driving hours, and only have 23 more trips that I have to make with a supervisor before I can get my license with the discount on insurance. Very exciting. very exciting.
